Hello I have tested the new way with svg. It does not work all the svg. Some are quite a few layers are not imported An example. would also be important. In the Drawing Editor zooming it is important to select Layer, make groups and select Groups , show and hide groups It is a very good start Attachments:

Hi. My SVG import works but the shapes come in as filled. Originally they were just outlined shapes. Corel 12 generated svg file dk Attachments:

OK, just done an update. Both of those are fixed.
We've also added a resize button for large svg drawings and if you double click a line in the editor, that line or shape will be selected for editing.
We hope to add lot more tools to the drawing editor in the future.

Hi. Just doing some other experiments with SVG importing. Vector Magic SVG files come in a little strange too. I would say a lot of people use vector magic. dk Attachments:

Hi. Thanks. Once again you are amazing!
Just a quick question on wmf format. When I import or export a wmf format it is usually in a vector format but when I open a wmf in Hippo the image behaves like a raster file, ie, when it is resized it pixelates. Is that supposed to happen?

There is no vector support for wmf. I think .net just loads it as a bitmap. There is a number of vector formats we'd like to support .ai, .eps we'll add them eventually. For now, 1 is infinity better than 0.

We've also reduced the number of points required, trying to use more curves instead.

Hi. Having another problem with SVG import. Again, CorelDraw 12. Fills are not coming in also linework is not right. (file attached) EDIT: Is there an external vector drawing package that you reccommend using with Hippo so that all fills etc are exported correctly? dk Attachments:

Perry is working in todays build.
Graphics2 was working fine, except the yellow is ignored. It only supports the start and end colors of a gradient at the moment.

To export to SVG, use save as from the drawing editor or right click a drawing in the library and click save. Make sure you choose SVG in the save dialog.
At the moment we don't know much about the various SVG compatible editors. I think illustrator is good but expensive also inkscape works well.
