on my latest experimental project im doing.....i have a moving picture animation (fade.html) loaded as a webobject into the main timeline....Problem is, while the main page preloads..the webobject page doesnt...so i get the main page with no background for a bit until the webobject loads in....for the first time visitor they wont see the full effect.... can i use code to preload the webobject as well....what would i use? the sample is here: www.hoofprintshorses.comthanks Paul

I'll see if we can add a preload option. We were getting a lot of complains that preloading was making websites slow to load so we made it load dynamically. I'll request the option for you.

OK, this has been added. You could try to add that sky in Hippo though, create a white mask image with semi transparent areas and then move a sky image behind it.

I thought of that...but thought if anyone expanded the screen or resized the mask might not cover it all.... where is the option to add the preload for the sky... so i enable it in the actualy Sky.hani file...or do i do it through the main splash page site ive got goin Thanks ...appreciate all the help and fast turnaround time....

There is a "Preload" setting for the web page object. Why not make the mask fade away to the right and then choose "Fit Top Left" as the movie scale.

ok, ill try it both ways.. by mask you just mean put white boxes or boxes with holes over top, correct?... There isnt yet a actual mask option, is there? Thanks Paul

Yeah basically get a solid white image then go into image editor, choose erase and set opacity to 50% then go nuts.
