We've added a new start page to the latest version.
It's not really aimed at seasoned pros like you guys. It's aimed more and newbies to help them get started.
Just wondering what you all thought? Any suggestions to improve it?

Hi,
Actually I think it's pretty darn handy...especially when it comes to seeing what new tutorials are available. I like also that the start page provides a link to the discussion forum.
EDIT: That said...I just tried to click on a blog tutorial link and nothing happened? Just got a blank page?

The top 2...."How to cut out images and Sprites" and "How to add masks"
The 3rd one "New special characters" opens up in Firefox fine.

No probs.....to be more specific if it helps....I upgraded and when I open Hippo the start page appears. To the right there is a Blog column. When I click the first 2 items in the list I get this:  Alternatively when I click on the 3rd item in the list Firefox opens with the correct link. Cheers dk |

Ahhh.... ok, that's different. It's supposed to open the tutorial in the help.
Could you possibly download the latest update and see if it works?

Hi Gordon,
really sorry to report it is still doing same thing....let me know if I can send any other info to help.
First 2 x items open a blank Hippo window and nothing else...second two items (clicked) open the links in Firefox and nothing changes in the Hippo windows.
