Is Hippani still been developed

Hi guys,

Don't mean to ruffle any feathers, but I've not seen any update in a long, long time, so just wondering if Hippani is still been actively developed/upgraded.

At the moment it's just being maintained really. Hoping to add some new features but struggled to find time in 2017 to do much more than fix bugs and update the translations.

I just purchased and joined the club... It appears to me Hippani is the ONLY game in town that competes with (Forced privacy invasion Ad*be Azzimator, extortion). I would expect a smaller team that actively supports any updates, etc... Need any help updating/developing? I would be interested in supporting Hippani application. Best to all.

I am really sad that Hippani animator is no longer developed.
There are no new versions for a long time. Pity. I liked this software a lot. It worked very well and was nice to use.

Now, maybe I'll try Saola Animate from ATOMI for something more... 'up to date'.

Hi noirflou.
Maybe you could keep this thread upadated with some Hippani alternative software we can all move to?
Currently I have looked at Google Web Designer. It was originally made for animating banners but can be used to do similar things to Hippani. It is quite difficult to use though. Things like playing audio files is very convoluted and not explained. You have to dig through the forums to find workarounds for it.

Saola Animate is a good find.    I quickly tested this software. Great modern UI. Excellent easy animation tools. Valide html5 export. I did not understand with a responsive layout. Pretty confusing JS editing(Hippani is also not very comfortable).

In general, my impressions are very good. Saola Animate is a good alternative to the Hippani Animator.

Well, I will stick to Hippani Animator until the developer(s) announce they won't be keep going on.
I LOVE Hippani Animator.

One person company like Hippany can say at any time: "I am too lazy. I no longer have the desire. I do not have the time. I have another hobby. I have hemorrhoids etc....." One person company is indifferent to thousands of users, does not care that users spent a lot of time learning this  software etc.................. I'm not talking about new versions and updates of OSs. I'm not talking about the constant development, chaging and updating of web standards and browsers.

If you intend to create a serious project and a commercial product, you need a reliable developer. In this case this is Adobe. Definitely.

If this is a hobby for you. If you experiment, learn and have a lot of time. Then try different programs and choose the best for you.
