Inserting gif

I have just started using Hippo Animator and am recreating in html a previous flash animation.
I am trying to insert an animated gif as an image and when I play the movie or export to html the gif is static. How do I insert an animated gif to the move?

Animated GIF are not really supported (yet).
You have a few options.

1. You could replace the file after export then search and replace the html for MyImage.gif.

2. Use the image sequence object and import a sequence of images.

3. Try to recreate the gif using hippo animator's normal animation methods.
