Hi, Been playing around with the beta. Can't you change the point of rotation anymore? I made this character and want to change the rotation point of each of the limbs, shoulder, elbow, wrist and so on, and I also would like the shoulder to be the parent of the elbow and the wrist so that you rotate the shoulder around it's own pivot point, the elbow and wrist follows. And so on. It's a real pain in the.. if not impossible to do in the current version. Are there going to be any changes in version 3 to facilitate that? Greetz!

Hi I yes sorry, Center of rotation has been replaced by curved transitions, you should be able to achieve the same result. Set the start and end frames of an arm, then use the new curve property to make it animate the way you want. You may need to set more than two frames though.
I think what you really want is bones, a way to join two items together at a point. This is quite an advanced feature we hope to add in the future.
Check out our character demo. We've done something similar but without the elbow joint as that would be a pain. I've not tested it in hippo 3 yet though to be honest.

Really like Hippo 3. . . am struggling a bit with the HTML-object. Any demo for that?

Glad you like it, we'll do demos and help once the features are finalised.
To use the html object, add something like to it:
This is a test <b>bold</b><br> This is html
Then when you export to html the code is included inline.

Ok new update. The rotation bug is fixed. The you tube bug is fixed. We've changed the library delete warning. Preview images have been added to the video object. Time time in the player is in frames again as it should be.
Please keep those bugs coming.

Sometimes I want to delete the item from both the Library and the Timeline - and doing both in one step would be a convenience.
Rather than just changing the wording when deleting from the Library, how about allowing the user to make a selection at that time to a) delete from just the Library, or b) delete from Library and Timeline?

I'll add that as a new suggestion. I don't see why not.

Opacity behaves kind of funny on objects inside the timeline object once exported. I think anything above 1% opacity gives 100% when exported.

OK another update is available. The timeline has been changed again to make better use of the space. The frame times are now in the timeline panel title.
