I can't seem to make the flash fallback to the video object work. Is it working for everybody else?

What doesn't work about it?

It doesn't play video. I made a quick test here: VideotesterThis is a project with nothing but a video. Plays fine in IE10 and IE9. In IE8 and lower the flash player just shows up empty. Just a sidequestion. If the player worked, would the Video object's script functions also work?

Damn! Ok, we'll get that fixed as soon as possible.

Yes all the script functions should work anyway.

Does the video work if you set the MP4 Url to:
http: //stowasser.dk/videotester/output.mp4
rather than just output.mp4

OK, I think we've solved it. Download the update. The flash player didn't support relative Urls. it does now.

Hm.. That didn't seem to make any difference for me. Version 3.0.5007

Did you re-upload the media folder? The file Video.swf has changed.

Finally had time to test this. Yes I'm pretty sure I reuploaded the media folder. But just to be sure, I made a new project with the same content and the result is the same. Absolute url plays, relative url does not.

OK, we'll try again.

OK I'm pretty sure we've got it this time. We tested with your video and found a bug, also for some reason flash insists on downloading the entire video before playing. We don't know why. However when we tested this video: clips.vorwaerts-gmbh.de/big_buck_bunny.mp4The video starts playing when it's still downloading. We've no idea why that is but I think it's an mp4 or a server thing rather than the flash player.

That's strange. I'll try with some other videos. But I've tested and can confirm that relative url works. Thanks again for your awesome work!

Continuing to nitpick on the Videoplayer... the flashplayer seems to play things scaled down to 3/4 of the mp4 player.
