New to Hippo and love the software but when exporting to html and pasting the embed code in my wordpress site the animation doesn't appear and can't find the html file? I think I followed instructions but as a newbie to Hippo I may have missed something?

Have you uploaded the html page and the media folder? Try to figure out the URL for that page first, forget the wordpress and make sure you can see just the animation page in your browser. Then set the src in the code to that URL.

Once hippo has exported the HTML , it still needs to be put or uploaded to the internet so the wordpress code can find it online. You'll need an FTP program to upload it and a place to put or host your hippo HTML file and media folder, maybe the same place your wordpress site is located Once that is done, you'll need to tell wordpress where to find the hippo HTML file and it will work. You can't embed code online in your wordpress site that points to your local computer... It won't work |
