Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V are not functioning in the script dialogs. This is new behavior.

I haven't experienced that. Works fine here.

We just changed that code to make the alt gr key work so there might be an issue. But it works here too. What kind of keyboard do you have? e.g. standard PS2 running US english or is there anything different about it? Is there anything you could think of that is unusual about your keyboard?

Still seeing it. I don't think its my keyboard (Windows 7 one a Dell laptop) because Hippo is the only app that behaves this way. Here's what I'm doing, comparing the behavior in Hiipo and Notepad. And I know that it didn't used to behave this way. Attachments:movie2.mp4 (191.21 KB)

I'm sure we can solve this. It looks like Ctrl+A works which is odd because that uses exactly the same thing. Could you try a couple of tests for us please. Could you copy something form notepad and paste it into hippo and then copy something from hippo and paste it into notepad. I'm wondering if only one of copy/paste is not working.

Neither work.
In fact the ctrl-c from Hippo doesn't even make it to the clipboard. When I entered something new in Hippo, did ctrl-c, and tried pasting it to Notepad, it pasted the previous thing I had copied.

For some reason Hippo thinks your menu button is being pressed on your keyboard. We're trying to find a workaround for this.

Yay! That fixed it - for all scenarios (copying and pasting within Hippo and back and forth between Notepad and Hippo)
What did you mean by "menu button"?

On your keyboard there is a menu button it looks like a square with three lines in it, on my keyboard it's to the right of the space bar. There are also some other keys that force this like "alt gr" and sometimes "fn", are any of these stuck on?

Hmmm... I don't think my keyboard has such a key. But even if it did - if it was "stuck on" it should affect programs other than Hippo shouldn't it? No other programs were affected.
