Hi, I'm trying to upload and embed an exported html file to wordpress. So far I have managed to upload the file to wordpress and also the media folder that comes with it. But when I try to embed it with the code provided (from the test page). I get this... Also tried inserting the url from the media library into the code but I get this... Now, I have put the media folder and html file in here... I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for it? If some one can help me with this, it be would really helpful. Thanks.

Looks like you have the wrong url. maybe find the url of something else like an image, from there, you might be able to deduce what the url of the movie should be.

Hello Jennyg, I might be wrong (WP experts, correct me please), but I see WP's media gallery as a collection of uploaded images, sounds etc. for quick embedding and re-locating when the image etc. is needed for an article. I have always had the same problem like you when I wanted to embed something complex, as, for instance, a special form or html website (with its own links, scripts, media). For this reason, I would create a completely new directory (i.e. not in the "uploads", but via FTP make a completely new directory, call it Hippani or whatever, and into this new directory - still via FTP - move all the files that belong to the Hippani movie. Then use "iframe" in order to show your Hippani movie on your WP page. wordpress.org/support/topic/can-i-put-an-iframe-on-a-wp-page
